Directions: The HHM facility is located at the La Crosse

County Landfi ll Complex. Take State Road 16 east toward

West Salem. The facility is approximately ˝ mile east of

Interstate 90 on the south side of State Road 16.

Hours: Tues. & Thurs. 9 am–4 pm (call for appointment);

Wednesday, 10:30 am–6 pm (no appointment needed);

1st & 3rd Saturdays, 9 am–noon (no appointment needed).

( A small fee is required for Allamakee Residents)

 

Allamakee County

A one Day Yearly collection of HHM's will be held at the Allamakee Solid Waste Office.

• Give leftover materials such

as paint thinner and paint

to someone who will use

them up for their intended

purpose.

• Never pour oil, antifreeze,

or other hazardous materials

on the ground, into storm

sewers, or down the drain.

• Take hazardous products

that you cannot use up or

give away to one of the HHM

Collection sites. (A product

exchange program that

provides residents access to

unused items is available at

each facility.)
