Allamakee County Emergency Management Coordinator

 

Responsibilities

 

The Emergency Management Coordinator is responsible for the development of county wide emergency operations plan, coordination of emergency planning activities and provides technical assistance to political subdivisions throughout the county. When or if an emergency or disaster would occur, the emergency management coordinator provides assistance to the governing offices of the municipalities of the county and the county officials. Emergency Management  is responsible for action on Disasters, Hazardous Materials incidents, and Homeland Security.

 

Emergency Management Board

 

The Emergency Management Board Members consist of a Allamakee County Supervisor, Allamakee county Sheriff, and City Mayors with in the County.
